Dr. Dana Rundle Dr. Rundle graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Her PhD is in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Rundle has significant experience in recombinant DNA technology and molecular biology. She teaches Biological Aspects and Forensic Molecular Biology lecture and laboratory courses in the graduate Forensic Sciences program. Dr. Robert Bost Dr. Bost earned his B.S and M.A. degrees in chemistry from the University of Texas and a PhD in chemistry from the University of Houston. He was introduced to the analysis of drugs while working for a pharmacologist at Tulane University of Medicine in New Orleans. He worked in toxicology under the training of Dr. Irving Sunshine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Bost became the Chief Toxicologist for the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Science in Dallas and also a professor in the Pathology department at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. David von Minden Dr. V, as he is affectionately called, has been an icon in the Department of Chemistry at UCO for 10 years. He graduated from Texas Tech and University of Nebraska. He spent 19 years in the United States Navy as a toxicologist and an Instructor at the Naval Academy. He teaches General Chemistry, Introduction to Forensic Sciences, Forensic Science Analysis and the Graduate course, Physical Aspects of Forensic Science. Tom Bevel Tom Bevel served the Oklahoma City Police Department for 27 years and retired as a Captain. His last assignment was Commander of Homicide, Robbery, Missing Persons, and Major Unsolved Cases. As the owner of TBI, a forensic education and consulting company, he now provides expert consultation services for numerous private, state, national, and international entities. He is a co-author of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis: With An Introduction to Crime Scene Reconstruction, CRC Press, 1997. Tom teaches Crime Scene Investigation and Reconstruction (FRSC 5143). |

Craig Gravel Lieutenant Gravel is a 21-year veteran with the Oklahoma City Police Department currently assigned to the Crime Scene Unit. He has been in the Investigation Bureau since 1989. He has worked as a Detective in the Larceny, Missing Persons, Robbery and Homicide Units. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1989 and has been in the Crime Scene Unit for the past 7 years. Lieutenant Gravel has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Masters of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. He has advanced training in the area of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis and Crime Scene Reconstruction. Craig teaches Bloodstain Pattern Analysis I and II (FRSC 5413 and FRSC 5423). He is a Charter member of the Association for Crime Scene Reconstruction and a member of the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis.

Doug Parker Doug Parker spent 4 years in the Patrol Division of the Norman, OK Police Department, then joined the Oklahoma City Police Department in 1999. Doug spent 4 years as a Crime Scene Investigator and is now a Detective in the Child Abuse Unit. Doug has a MS in Criminal Justice Management and Administration, as well as hundreds of hours in specalized training in Investigations. He teaches Practical Crime Scene Processing (FRSC 5910) and Bloodstain Pattern Analysis I (FRSC 5413). |

Richard
Walts
Richard Walts has served as a Public Safety Officer, Assistant Fire Chief, Fire Chief, and retired from the Department of Defense Fire and Emergency Services. He has worked as an Agent with the Oklahoma State Fire Marshall Agency and is currently working as a Fire Marshal for the Oklahoma National Guard. Richard has a MS degree in Criminal Justice from Faulkner University and has attended numerous specialized training courses over his 35 year career in Fire Safety. He teaches Forensic Arson (FRSC 5443).

Dr. Joni McClain Dr. McClain is an Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Texas Southwestern and the Deputy Chief Medical Examiner at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences, Dallas TX. Dr. McClain is certified by the American Borad of Pathology (Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and by the American Board of Pathology (Forensic Pathology). She is also a member of the National Association of medical Examiners and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Dr. McClain teaches FRSC 5313 Human Death Investigation. |
