Forensic Nursing

 
Program Description: The forensic nursing option is designed for registered nurses who hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field and wish to pursue a forensics career.  Students must complete a minimum of 34 hours of graduate level work, including a core of 10 hours and a minimum of 24 hours in their major area.
 
Undergraduate Prerequisites:  Students must have a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice nursing in the State of Oklahoma. 
 
Core Courses  Students in all options will take the following courses:

POL  5323 The Constitution and Criminal Procedure
FRSC  5102 Physical Aspects of Forensic Science
FRSC  5202 Biological Aspects of Forensic Science
